Trinity Christian is returning to their home court after beating Whitewater on theirs, despite the fact Whitewater has dominated at home this season. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lexie Starcher, who had 15 digs and 12 assists. Those 15 digs gave Starcher a new career-high. Lanie Starcher was another key player, getting 14 digs and three assists.
Meanwhile, it's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Francis can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Monday. The Knights have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
St. Francis started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.
Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 25-9. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 12-21.
Trinity Christian took their victory against St. Francis in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
