Despite the loss, Glen Iris Baptist had strong showings from Joshua Everett, who scored 21 points along with 3 steals, and Jackson Dickey, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds. The match was Dickey's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Glen Iris Baptist bumped their record down to 5-2 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Providence Classical, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glen Iris Baptist will challenge Brooklane Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Brooklane Baptist's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Providence Classical, they will head out on the road to face off against Rocket City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
