Daniel Boone won the last time they faced West Ridge and things went their way on Monday too. The Trailblazers were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Trailblazers, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Daniel Boone got a big performance out of Jackson McCurry, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Will Gregory, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Daniel Boone's win bumped their record up to 20-7-1. As for West Ridge, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will venture away from home to challenge Science Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Trailblazers surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Dobyns-Bennett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
