Nick Simon and Chris Weyent provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Ridgedale. The connection went for 60 yards, the longest such play in Northwest Central this season.
Riverside moved up to 581 from 690 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Bradford 24-20.
Corey Smith threw for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 17-23 with 1 interceptions.
Nick Rourke provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Lehman Catholic fell to Anna. He completed 17 passes for 167 yards and also ran for 51 yards. Rourke's key target this week was Andrew Westerheide, who caught 9 passes for 107 yards.
Cole Crawford was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 181 yards on 10 carries as Upper Scioto Valley fell to the Rockets. Teammate Dylan Hunsicker added to the ground attack by rushing for 161 yards.
Smith put up the best numbers through the air as Perry fell to Spencerville. Smith's favorite target this week was Caiden Dicke, who caught 2 passes for 48 yards.
Westerheide was the best wideout in Northwest Central this week as Lehman Catholic fell to Anna. Max Schutt helped Lehman Catholic's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 41 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Smith of the Commodores is the league leader in passing yards this season with 207. He has also thrown 2 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Westerheide. The Lehman Catholic star has 9 catches for 107 yards.
Fort Loramie was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Redskins triumphed over Minster 21-18.
