Meanwhile, Advanced Math & Science Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 68-39 loss at the hands of Blackstone-Millville.
Ashland bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Ashland didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Advanced Math & Science Academy when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ashland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
