TERRA Environmental gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-46 win over Florida Christian.
TERRA Environmental's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nick Merlo led the charge by scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds. Ramiro Pando-Tristan was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Gulliver Prep had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Florida Christian by a score of 53-50.
TERRA Environmental's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Gulliver Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
