The Centennial Eagles will take on the Treasure Coast Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Centennial is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since March 7, 2025 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Page, sneaking past 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Andrew Lulkin tossed a big game, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Greene, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Demario DeRogatis was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Treasure Coast sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Wellington on Wednesday.
Treasure Coast also got a great performance from Sebastian Garcia as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Garcia also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Titans are 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Treasure Coast let Lucas Romero and Jacob Sanchez run wild. Romero went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Sanchez went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Treasure Coast hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 6-11-1. As for Treasure Coast, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Centennial has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Treasure Coast struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Centennial's way against Treasure Coast in their previous meeting back in March, as Centennial made off with a 9-1 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
