Colleyville Heritage had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 20-11 to the Red Oak Hawks. Billy Middleton looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 216 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 52 yards and one score. Red Oak's leading receiver Brayden Robinson was Middleton's top target yet again, picking up 97 receiving yards and one TD.
Coming up, Colleyville Heritage will square off against Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Oak, they will face off against Seguin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
