While Alpharetta's victory against North Cobb wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Warriors 2-1. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leilani Lamar paced Alpharetta's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lamar got some help from Susie Dai and her 17 assists.

Alpharetta's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for North Cobb, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Alpharetta will be playing in front of their home fans against Pope at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Cobb, they will head out on the road to square off against Marietta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
