For MAST Charter II's part, Micheal Capizzi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 15 Ks.
At the plate, Shane Twyman was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.
Sankofa Freedom Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for MAST Charter II, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
