The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs lost against the Temple Christian Crusaders last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Westover Christian Academy was the victim of a rough 64-43 defeat at the hands of Temple Christian. Westover Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cam Shelton, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shelton has scored all season. Caleb Hill was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Silas Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Temple Christian, scoring 17 points. Walker has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Winston Jackson, who scored 12 points.
Westover Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Temple Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.
Westover Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Westover Christian Academy is facing Dayspring Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Dayspring Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Temple Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
