Smith-Cotton had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Northwest Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2017.

Smith-Cotton's victory bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Smith-Cotton will be playing in front of their home fans against Battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-6 loss against Lincoln on the 4th.
