Isaac Munoz Goes Supernova in Southwest SD Defeat
Starting off the list is Southwest SD's Isaac Munoz, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Munoz punched in four rushing scores, and also threw for 255 yards and a touchdown.

The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
San Ysidro's win bumped their record up to 2-4. Garcia and San Ysidro will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on October 11th.

Conner Davis posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Southwest SD: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

A Season-Best Effort from Jaylen Garcia Leads Southwest SD over Kearny
Sadly, Jaylen Garcia posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Southwest SD over Kearny on Friday. Garcia picked up 132 receiving yards, and also rushed for 45 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
For the season, Garcia has averaged 42.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 17.67 receiving yards per game.
