The Spring Hill Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Henderson Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
Spring Hill is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Carthage just ended the team's 17-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Peyton Dees was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Duckworth, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Henderson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Pine Tree 11-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Lions have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jacie Boothe spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Colbie Rountree was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jalynn Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Henderson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine Tree only posted a batting average of .143.
Spring Hill's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 24-6. As for Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 18-10-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Spring Hill has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Henderson struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Spring Hill came out on top in a nail-biter against Henderson when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
