The Bourne Canalmen put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 76-49 victory over Seekonk. The result was nothing new for Bourne, who have now won four matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
Despite the loss, Seekonk still got an impressive performance from Noah Beausoleil, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Beausoleil scored 15 or more points. Declan Lush was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.
Bourne's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Seekonk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourne will take on Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Bourne is ranked ninth). As for Seekonk, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Old Rochester Regional at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Old Rochester Regional's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
