The West Franklin Falcons suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Mission Valley 65-33. West Franklin has not had much luck with Mission Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Mission Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyplee Jacobson, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Foster, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five assists.
West Franklin's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Mission Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.
West Franklin will be playing in front of their home fans against Mission Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Osage City at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
