College Park is 8-2 against Concord since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. College Park's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Miles Smith, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals, and Connor Whittles who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deegan Sullenger, who scored no points along with six assists and two steals.
Speaking of assists, College Park were working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. This was only their ninth loss (out of 14 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
Concord suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-26 loss at the hands of Miramonte. Concord was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-6.
College Park has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Concord, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-13.
Everything came up roses for College Park against Concord when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 69-21 victory. With College Park ahead 37-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
