Winston-Salem Prep won the last time they faced Cornerstone Charter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix blew past the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals 81-36. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Winston-Salem Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jace Covington, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Rorie, who earned 15 points.

Cornerstone Charter's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Spencer Knight, who put up ten points and six boards. Knight is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Charles Walker was another key player, going 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points.

Winston-Salem Prep pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Cornerstone Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Coming up, Winston-Salem Prep will take on Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leadership Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.5 points per game this season. As for Cornerstone Charter, they have already played their next matchup, a 61-49 defeat against Piedmont Classical on the 12th.
