Softball Recap: Coe-Brown Academy Beats Hollis-Brookline for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Coe-Brown Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Coe-Brown Academy pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hollis-Brookline, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Coincidentally, Coe-Brown Academy and Hollis-Brookline will both be playing Souhegan the next time they take the field. The Cavaliers will host the Sabers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
