Clearwater Valley extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 13-6 in the process. Everything went their way against Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] as they made off with an 11-2 win. Considering the Rams have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gracie Schuster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 14 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Megan Myers, who went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eva Lundgren, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Clearwater Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive contests.

As for Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce], their loss dropped their record down to 2-10. They have struggled against Clearwater Valley recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

On Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce]'s side, Kairys Grant made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and one RBI. Grant has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Audrey Warren was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Clearwater Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Genesee on the 5th. Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
