There's no place like home for ALA - West Foothills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let the Florence Gophers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Guardians, who have now won seven matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Ave Risati was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Caines, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

ALA - West Foothills hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

ALA - West Foothills pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Florence, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ALA - West Foothills will head out to take on Kingman at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Florence, they will venture away from home to square off against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
