In what's become a running theme this season, the Jefferson Panthers gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They put the hurt on Manhattan with a sharp 64-44 win. The victory was nothing new for Jefferson as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
It was another big night for Ryian Eveland, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Stevens, who scored six points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Jefferson's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Manhattan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will take on Ennis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ennis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Jefferson likes a good challenge. As for Manhattan, they will head out on the road to take on Broadwater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
