Clearwater owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against the Anclote Sharks by a score of 4-0. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Eduardo Alfredo was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Alfredo wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ty Woodring, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Jackson King was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Clearwater's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Anclote, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Clearwater will host Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warhawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Tornadoes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Anclote, they will venture away from home to challenge Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Sharks are facing the Spongers at the right time seeing as the Spongers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
