 In other batting news,  Finn Oetting was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Henry Johnson, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI.
 On Liberty Common's side,  Patrick Kearney was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Lyons has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season. As for Liberty Common, their loss was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Lyons will  take on Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Valley has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.71  runs per game on average), something Lyons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Liberty Common, they will be playing at home against Estes Park at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Liberty Common has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
