Willcox had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the San Miguel Vipers. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

Randy Hill got the start for Willcox and what a start it was: he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave Hill a new career-high.

Willcox's record is now 9-4. As for San Miguel, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
