The biggest upset of the week belonged to Governor Mifflin, who defeated 46th ranked Exeter Township, 41-7.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Berks Inter-County 1 this week, Muhlenberg beat Pottsville 42-18. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Crimson Tide's dynamic duo of Patrick Keating and AJ Stevens proved to be unstoppable against Muhlenberg, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Keating threw for 35 yards and Stevens had 76 yards receiving. Travis Blankenhorn helped Pottsville's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 25 yards.
Chase Yocum provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Eagles fell to the Mustangs. He completed 9 passes for 146 yards and also ran for 37 yards. Yocum's favorite target this week was Chris Scott, who caught 2 passes for 64 yards.
Pottsville's Tyler Moser and Blankenhorn have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Moser has thrown for 664 yards this season, while Blankenhorn, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 11 catches for 282 yards. Alex Guilbe from Conrad Weiser leads the league in rushing with 617 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Governor Mifflin takes on Rich Kolka's team. As it stands, Dominic Vecchio's team is in fifth, while the Muhls are in first.
The Mustangs took down Exeter Township 41-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
