The David Thibodaux Bulldogs will take on the Westminster Christian Academy Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
David Thibodaux barely beat Northside Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 15-2 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the game before.

Morgan Malveaux made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Amalie Harvison, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Aubrey Savini, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
David Thibodaux kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy got the win against Gueydan on Thursday by a conclusive 11-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.
Like David Thibodaux, Westminster Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Mia Sisco. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Sisco also put up three hits, which were her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Westminster Christian Academy let Audrey Ledoux and Emma Tanner run wild. Ledoux scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Tanner scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was Tanner's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Sarver, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Westminster Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for David Thibodaux, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-15.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. David Thibodaux has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .437. However, it's not like Westminster Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .540.
