Coahoma Agricultural scaled the state rankings by moving to 216 from 251 this week, the biggest jump in 2A Region 2. The Tigers were able to make move up by beating Riverside 58-0.
Coahoma Agricultural took down the Bulldogs 58-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Byers's Anthony Rubin and Ronnie Dennis have proven to be a lethal combination. Rubin has thrown for 182 yards this season, while Dennis, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 5 catches for 112 yards. Jordon Harris from Potts Camp leads the league in rushing with 183 yards.
The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,023 from 11,287. The advance stemmed from a 58-0 victory over Riverside last week.
