The Riverside Warriors waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They blew past Eastside 58-33. Given Riverside's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Eagles are ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyndal Haroski, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Miah Johnson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Despite the defeat, Eastside saw an underclassman step up: Laila Harvey scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Wilson, who scored seven points.

Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Eastside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.
Riverside will head out on the road to square off against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Laurens has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19. As for Eastside, they will be playing at home against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
