Cox strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Green Run Stallions a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Cox pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Green Run, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cox will head out to face off against Cape Henry Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dolphins' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Green Run, they will head out on the road to take on Ocean Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
