DeSoto County fell victim to Booker's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Tornadoes. While losing is never fun, DeSoto County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Booker is ranked 173rd).
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Osceola sidestepped Countryside for a 13-10 victory.

Carter is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Steven Doletzky did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-0 Mariner and 10-3 Frostproof (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63.6% over those games). As for Osceola, their win on Friday bumped their record up to 3-4.
