Cutter Kennedy posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Weatherford is 3-0-1 when Kennedy allows one or fewer earned runs, but 5-12 otherwise.
