Softball Recap: Tabb Has No Trouble Against Lafayette

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against York, Tabb was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lafayette Rams as they made off with a 20-10 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Milenah Camacho and Alayna Davidson did most of the damage at the plate: Camacho went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Davidson went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That stolen base marked the first that Camacho has snagged this season. Lakelyn Bagheri was another key player, going 3-for-6 with three runs and one RBI.

Tabb hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lafayette struck out seven times.

Tabb now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lafayette, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabb will host Warhill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mathews at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
