Melba has enjoyed a six-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on Varsity Opponent at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Varsity Opponent took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Melba, who comes in off a win.
 Melba can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Wednesday. They blew past Nampa Christian 8-1.
  Kalli Adams was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Adams has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than seven  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Adams was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  triple and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Olivia Atack was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.  Analyse Durham was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Varsity Opponent fell victim to South Bronx Community and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They suffered a  tough 19-0 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. Varsity Opponent has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Melba has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 24-72-1.
