Given Roosevelt's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Ballard is ranked 97th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jalen Dollar was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 24 points. Anthony Washington was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
