The Reed-Custer Comets posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They blew past Herscher 43-16 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Reed-Custer has posted against Herscher since January 13, 2020.
It was another big night for Kaylee Tribble, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Mya Beard was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Reed-Custer now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Herscher, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Reed-Custer on the road again on Monday and play against Peotone at 6:45 p.m. on January 29th. Peotone is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games. As for Herscher, they will be playing at home against Grant Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Grant Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Thursday.
