The Alpine Bucks will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Presidio Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Alpine will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Alpine earned a 52-44 win over Kermit.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alpine to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karolina Castillo, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Novah Carrasco, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Presidio, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 41-27 loss to Stanton last Friday. Presidio has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alpine's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Presidio, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Alpine strolled past Presidio when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 50-35. Does Alpine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Presidio turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
