Leadore is on a three-game streak of home losses, Clark County an 11-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Having just played yesterday, the Leadore Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Clark County Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Leadore suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Monday. Their rough 72-47 loss to North Gem might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Leadore has suffered against North Gem since December 15, 2020.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dane Piippo, who scored 16 points along with five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Porter Mayo, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Clark County played against North Gem and lost via forfeit.
Leadore has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Clark County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Leadore against Clark County in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 57-24 victory. Does Leadore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clark County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
