On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Anaconda beat Drummond 58-54. Given Anaconda's advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while Drummond is ranked 27th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Drummond lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brody Rasor, who scored 12 points along with seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Scott Parke, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Anaconda and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Drummond, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Anaconda will take on Thompson Falls in a holiday battle at TBD on Friday at. Drummond will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against St. Regis at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th.
