Basketball Recap: Carlisle Sets Scoring Season-High Against Chatham Hall

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlisle). They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 73-16 win over the Chatham Hall Turtles. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carlisle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenzie Board, who posted 23 points. Board continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ja'La Niblett, who scored 19 points.

Chatham Hall's loss came despite strong showings from Priscella Bennsion and Leyli Brooks. Bennsion dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards, while Brooks had. Bennsion is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Carlisle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Chatham Hall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Carlisle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chatham Hall, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-10 defeat against New Covenant on the 14th.
