Meanwhile,, Mission Viejo couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 25-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty.
Mission Viejo's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Santa Margarita's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Mission Viejo would reverse both their bad luck and Santa Margarita's good luck. We'll see if Mission Viejo manages to pull off that tough task or if Santa Margarita keeps their momentum going instead.
