On Friday Freeport take on Snook Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
After a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Freeport were humbled last Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 19-44 walloping at Graceville's hands. Freeport got a solid performance out of junior Brandon Siples, who rushed for 115 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Snook Christian Academy lost to South Walton, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-57. The state rankings had actually given Snook Christian Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
