Spring Valley faced Shady Spring in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Timberwolves had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Timberwolves: when they faced off against the Tigers on Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Spring Valley's offense was headlined by Ava Robertson and Emma Edwards, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Ellis and her nine assists. Katie Dowis controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
