After a string of three wins, the Humboldt Cubs's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 44-27 bruising from Crest. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Humboldt has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Humboldt still got an impressive performance from Sam Hull, who scored ten points.
Humboldt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Crest, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humboldt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Erie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crest, they will head out on the road to challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
