In what's become a running theme this season, the Milton Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Denmark 76-46 at home. The win was familiar territory for Milton who now have four in a row.
Nya Smith was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Milton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Young, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Milton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for Denmark, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
Milton will head out on the road to square off against Lambert at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lambert will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Denmark, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (South Forsyth is ranked 143rd, while Denmark is ranked 163rd).
