Harrison Central is on a eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Garfield is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Harrison Central Huskies will take on the Garfield G-Men at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

It was another big night for Mykel Quito, who rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Quito is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. Hayden Cassidy was another key contributor, throwing for 94 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Garfield was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Conneaut 56-13 at home. With Garfield ahead 42-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Eric Geddes was his usual excellent self, rushing for 181 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Harrison Central has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 206.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Garfield struggles in that department as they've been even better at 377.2 per game. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
