  Carter Roberts was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Kings Mountain's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Wesley Turner, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-5.
The  victory  got Kings Mountain back to even at 4-4. As for Huss, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kings Mountain will  challenge  rival North Gaston  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huss is set to  face off against  their familiar foe South Point  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
