A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pine Grove Panthers  take on  Ripley Tigers at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Pine Grove is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.

That's the most  RBI  Edwards has posted since back in April of 2024.  Autumn Mayes also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Ripley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .522. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
 Pine Grove pushed their record up to 9-7 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ripley, their record is now 5-12.
Ripley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Pine Grove has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .483. It's a different story for Ripley, though, as  they've  only  averaged .361. Will they be able to contain Pine Grove's hitters?
