Thunderbird is 8-2 against Greenway since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Demons at 6:00 p.m. Thunderbird will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

If Paradise Honors wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Thunderbird, they should've done a better job of containing Ema-Lee Burke. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers on Wednesday with plenty of help from Burke, who had 27 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Thunderbird had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Greenway beat Moon Valley 3-1 on Wednesday.
Greenway was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 24-26, 25-20.
Thunderbird better keep an eye on Eden Paul Castro. She was instrumental in Greenway's win, getting 11 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Paul Castro a new career-high. Dulce Vargas also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Greenway was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
The win got Greenway back to even at 12-12. As for Thunderbird, their record now sits at 20-12.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Thunderbird has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Greenway struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Thunderbird took their victory against Greenway when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
