The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.
Johnny Yates and Gavin Pecotte were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Yates struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Meanwhile, Pecotte tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Yates a new career-high. At the plate, Yates went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles, while Pecotte went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.
